Actually we did the math yesterday, but it was for church. I sent GMC, my son, off to find a dollar in coins, any coins except pennies or quarters (we use the quarters for JC, she can count to 4).
He got practice counting out a dollar and we got rid of some small change. Now when JC (my daughter) is getting better at counting, we will set them to rolling the penny jar!
