too much money!

Yeah who wouldn't want to have that problem!

Well the thing is, I don't actually have the money, but excell says I should. I used to do the budget with old fashioned paper and pen.

And now I am trying to learn excell again. I have a brain like a sieve, so it isn't as easy as you might think! but thanks to Boe, I got my basic register set up, and I thought I aught to have a budget on their too, only..there is too much money according to excell math! so where is it going, what am I forgeting?

Here are the categories I have (and no I can't find the old one on paper Smile.)

house (meaning mortgage)
car (payment)
phone
net
food
car gas
yearly/12 (insurance+HOA)
Gas
Electric
Water
Sewer
autosavings (ING)
church

    ...health??...car maintenance?? ...cleaning supplies??...education (supplies you might need?)...clothes??....(I'm just trying to remember the categories I've used in my budget)....special events? (Xmas, anniversaries, weddings, birthdays)...garbage disposal?...taxes?

    Mine has several medical columns--monthly medications, medical co-pays, eye/dental, gifts, toiletries, auto maintenance, pets meds and food, and various columns for spending like movies rented, food out, books, music--each spendy column only has a few bucks in it, but we budget for everything we can.

    Well, see none of those are much we currently spend, for hte longest time (pre raise) all the gifts came out of food, same with medical, if we bought a gift, we had less for food....after looking over the checkbook, I think some of that money is just sitting there!

    way cool, first in years that extra has been around!

    What about cable, internet, cell phone, water bill or health care expenses do you think you left some of those catagories out. Oh yeah dining out (that's a big one for me) good luck
