Heat officially turned on yesterday.

Woke up to a 55 house, with kids all needing showers for church. Combined with the house guests we currently have I figured it was about time to turn it on.

Might have to think of a programmable thermostat though. Sleeping at 55 is not to bad, getting up is the trouble.

    I knew when my hand's turned to ice outside the electric blanket, and the labrador tried to burrow underneath me as I slept that it was too cold. I turned on the heat. Great rejoicing among the canine contingent.

    Brr! I wouldn't want to wake up to 55 and have to get up and get moving! DH likes to keep the heat up and wear shorts while I prefer to keep the heat down and wear a little more clothing. It's a battle! lol

    I LOVE my programmable thermostat! It makes getting up at 6am & getting in the shower, a LOT easier.
