Skipping Sunday

April 30th, 2006 at 01:57 pm

I decided to skip Sunday school and church, becauae I wanted to sleep, yet here I am not sleeping!

I also wanted to escape the problem of my 'energetic' son, life is just easier when we don't go out and don't have to worry about what he did to whom and where.

I suppose I can chalk it up to saving on gas though Smile

Sounds like a relaxing morning! We have an 'energetic' son as well. Now that he's 6 he's calming down a lot. From ages 2-4, he was so high energy, it was absolutely draining...I'm constantly getting comments from people on how charming he is. He certainly keeps us entertained--the happiest kid I've ever met!

same here, chase baby is 24/7 running all around the house... he likes to watch the dvd toy story, and loves woody.. that is just about the only time he winds down, besides sleep time.

Is there such a thing as a non-energectic son? Not in my family or even in my extended family. Mine has me running ragged on his home days, with just enough time to rest up on his kindergarten days. Not sure what I am going to do this summer, with no days to rest up!

I don't blame you one bit for playing hooky!

I have one girl, world of difference, I love picking her up from Sunday school!

"she is so sweet, we love having her in class, ect."

So I am inclined to think it is at least partly genetic, not my terrible parenting!
