Is the costume good enough?

They don't have to be perfect..right? Right? maybe...or maybe they do....I dunno.

See every year we go to the renfest, and every year I drool over the overpriced clothes and boots....

Well this year I took a linen shirt my mother made and tried to fudge it... I never really wore it because I don't have the 'right stuff'



well...you can do some odd things with strips of cloth and wearing the corset on the outside....Is it good enough?

It isn't perfect..so I am debating on wearing it..because it isn't perfect I might not.....I never thought I was a perfectionsit, but here it is... self doubt over lack of proper skirt or boots...

    From what I can see it looks adorable on you! I think if you do your hair w/ hat ot bandana and some hoop earrings (or maybe just on one side?) it would polish it off...How fun...toss the doubt aside, you will look great!

    if nothing else, your costume being imperfect makes you *more* authentic that the shiney velvety renners i've been around.

    and honestly, how do they eat a roasted turkey leg in some of those get-ups? i'd be terrified of getting grease stains all over!

    Never offended by a compliment! and Thank you to all....I chickened out for the 'fall festival' (I wasn't sure grownups would wear a costume for a kids party...They did) but there is still hope for halloween, and of course the actual Ren-fest.

    I actually found a skirt that 'will do'! I will post a full picture later hopefully.

    Err though, broken..does that mean if I had no kids my figure wouldn't be great? NM don't answer that, might ruin my illusions of self!
