I forgot the number

Nearly every day (I like that phrase, it makes you think I do it all the time, but gives me an easy out if I skipped today)

Anyway, 'nearly every day' I log in to ING to make sure bills are going out, and money is available for spending if needed. I also log into our 'brick and mortar' bank..mostly to transfer money out and put it in ING.

Today I brought up ING, and froze..I literally cannot remember the number, the same number that I enter nearly every day..I don't even know the first digit!

After typing this and trying again I finally came up with it, but really you would think I am ancient or something, can't even remember a number I use nearly every day...It's the kids, they steal brain cells!

    LOL!...if it's any consolation, I once forgot my phone PIN number...and I DID use it every day...more than once!

    I had a friend whose mother swore that the act of giving birth killed brain cells. I used to just laugh at her - til I had four kids of my own. I love my kids dearly but now I am definitely a believer in her theory!

    Bad news, it gets worse. I couldn't remember my best friend's name once when we were on a soccer trip with a bunch of other soccer moms from other teams all doing laundry at the hotel because it was pouring down rain. "Oh yes my friend (gesturing towards her).... uh what's her name".... Now I am used to it.

    You have my sympathy and empathy!
    I once had to assign someone in my classroom the job of remembering where I put my drink (I had to talk so much I needed one) It was as sought after as clapping the erasers.

    Actually it's pregnancy that kills brain cells. I haven't found that they grow back though. Wink
