DS finished the k-5 program, so we lit a candle at dinner, let him pick it, and then made a badge with contact paper and a picture of him. It looks cool, and IDs him as being in the 'first Grade division' we made one for DD (no sense listening to her want his) and it said 'Exploring division, since she isn't even in Kindergarten yet. Thye both liked them 
. (and rather frugal .)
Today DH will head to the grocery store for a few essentials, and tomorrow we will head to BJs for more. Since we only have 300 in the bank (till the next pay check), I really really hope we can stick to the cheap stuff!.
