February goal

January 28th, 2006 at 12:46 pm

Each month, err Ok for the last two months, I have had a frugal goal for the whole month. December was 'unplugged' Januarry was 'paperless palace'. Now I need something for February. I really have no idea what to do.

December went well, practically nothing is plugged in all the time, not even the second alarm clock that no one used. And in spite of the coldish weather (NC here, not like PA!) I still managed to contine to line dry at least some clothes.

January went OK, I have switched almost all cleaning to cloth, and most of the diapers. But since we cance;led garbage and recycle more paper I was amazed to discover how much paper and cardboard we still go through in a week! Lots of junk mail, some schoolwork, and some packaging.

What a great idea! It sounds easier to try one thing for one month and make it a habit rather than trying to remember all the frugal things you're supposed to be doing all at once. I love it! Can't wait to get started!

Keep up the frugal work ;-)
