I worked! and got paid!

A friend called me and asked if I would be willing to work at the Renaissance Festaval yesterday. I happen to have a piratish costume..so I wore it for pirate weekend and they paid me! OK actually they paid me to sell swords, but I had to be in costume all day to do it.

I got to play with swords all day, and they paid me to do it! very cool Smile

'Course the money they gave me will finance our trip as a family next Saturday Smile.

    Now, that sounds like a fun job! Getting money to have fun. What could be better? Be cool to put that on a resume once just to see a reaction.....

    A quick google search should turn up a nice list of local fairs, and I know if you have a show you can put one on at most places at least one or two weekends, that should cover your entrance fee in tips at least. seriously, it is mainly on your feet work, but it was fun.
