No I don't text....

November 15th, 2006 at 05:39 pm

I don't have unlimited text.

I have never had the patience to type in using my phne keybad anyway, and if I have long enough to do that, I have long enough to make a quick call....

I did discover that I can ignore texts and then I don't pay for them, so don't bother texting I wont even read it Smile

The kids LOVE texting. I don't have it on my phone. Probably would hear more from them if I did. (Hmmm, do I want to hear more from them....)

I can't live without text!!!! I am deaf and the access for everyone to be able to text messge makes me feel more equal in the communicating world. I do have relay but most buisness and people hang up assuming its telemarketing rather than a person speaking for a deaf person typing the message. sigh... but technology keeps getting better and better

Hehe. I have a full thumb keyboard on my phone, but I almost never text. I rarely make phone calls either. Just never seem a need to....

lol... i know a couple of people that are like that... mostly teens... they use that function almost like actually talking... i'd personally rather talk on the phone...

My phone does text, once in a while I get a free one from the company. I'm not sure I see the use of it. If you want to write me a note instead of talk to me, email me!!! If I am somewhere (or you are) that has to be absolutely quiet and you shouldn't talk, then you probably should be paying attention to what is going on. The only reason I can see fo rtext messaging is if you are hiding from a badman in a closet and need to send word out for help. OK I also acknowledge that the deaf community would enjoy the text messaging feature and for them I am glad it was developed. It's hard to sign over the phone!!

Grunt, if I knew anyone deaf and or in need of it, I would gladdly pay for the option, but like many I only see it used by kids who aught to be doing something more useful!

and honestly I am usually talking while working, I need my hands, I can't text with them!!!!
