fudge phooey and fiddlesticks

January 24th, 2008 at 04:33 pm

I thought I was set on math worksheets for my oldest, but now it turns out the Singapore math book is written in..for the most essential fraction section!

Now I have to scramble to find something for him to do, he needs review of division, and multiplication (3 digit) and fraction work.

I am looking into finding a saxon math book on ebay, I think at this level they are hardback reusable books.

Did I mention phooey?

There are tons of sites online with free worksheets. If you have a printer, it might be easier and quicker to do that. I do love Saxon Math! I used that to teach my sons and they both excel at Math. I need to use it myself. Hmmmmmm

I pull a lot of sheets online, but I am getting a bit lazy with three kids now to pull..not to mention I like the continuity of a program..and for these three skills he needs some extra work.

I know what you mean, I am ready to buy curriculum because pulling sheets for 2 kids every week is taking way too much ink and paper. i can imagine it is alot for 3
