Why would you need a CC if it is free?

The gullibility of some rare folks leave ridiculous ads like this one.

    A friend had a truck listed on craigslist. Toward the end of the listing, he got a call from a company that offered to sell his truck for free on their website. All it would take was $199 to "get the process started." HUH? Seems like these scams just come out of the woodwork sometimes.
