Sicily's post. Not sure how far back we are supposed to stay.

1. Family gatherings at Grandma's house.

2. Baking cookies in highschool

3. Going to church (no we didn't do this every week, but it was nice for a time)

4. Feeding the ducks at north park

5. Many long hours spent at the science center.

I also have bad memories...but I would have to go way past the top 100 to get to any that involve not having things.

Sorry if i brought back some bad memories. I was just wanting advice on how to help these people, and was wondering if I was the only one that remembered the "little" nonmaterialistic things I enjoyed as a kid.

Don't be sorry was fun to riffle through some good stuff. Made me think about what sort of memories my kids are making.

I actually just was talking about autobiographies with my son, and he listed his memories...birthday parties (no gifts) and trips to zoo/museum/park/farm.

Oh and his baby sister being born Smile. Not a 'thing' on the list. Err that doesn't sound right... No 'items' Nothing tangible, all time and fun. (and he didn't list any bad events. so maybe I am doing something right!)

That is so cool that he listed the trips- I loved the field trips that we took when I was little.
