Pandora vs youtube

Pandora is the best radio station!

But for hearing a specific song it sucks, or at least I haven't figured out the trick

youtube is where it is at for a song request. But it is a bit annoying to have to keep choosing songs.

In short depends what you need, but either way it is free Smile

    The trick to hearing a particular song on pandora -- type it in the "add song/artist" box. Wait about 30 - 45 minutes (sometimes more) and eventually your song will come up. Big Grin
    Contractually Pandora isn't allowed to automatically play the "exact" song you want - only songs that are similar in tone quality or genre or perhaps by the same or similar artists. That's how it stays free.

    To play continuous vids on youtube - search for each song you want in a new tab/browser window. Hit pause before they start to play. Play the first one, then go to the next tab/window. Big Grin

    For what it's worth, I think Trandyan on YouTube is pretty neat. He does good guitar covers. Just saying. Big Grin
