New plan when I win the lottery

I am going to revamp the back yard and have it certified as a 'natural wildlife habitat' and revamp the front yard as part of a 'playborhood'

love the fountain in the front, and love the idea of playable space.

However folk shouldn't glare at cars just trying to go home...they should politly thank them for waiting while the kids get out of the way. (and promptly return)

BTW I do not play the lottery...and yes I would do this while looking for a larger house, the 7 of us are a bit snug here.

    The playborhood idea is pretty cool. But yes, cars just trying to get home aren't doing anything harmful. As long as they do wait for any children or pedestrians to pass first.

    I'm the Playborhood.com blogger and that's my front yard in the article. Yes, we have lots of fun here! I went all-out on this renovation, but the most important things don't take a lot of money. Regardless of budget, the emphasis should be on things kids can play with and seating for adults, *not* beautiful gardens.

    Also, go out there every day with your kids! We're out there every day after dinner. Yesterday, we had two different waves of visitors. The second was a group of six kids who played with two of my sons until sundown. Another day in the Playborhood...

    Cool! i have lots of things in the backyard for my 2 to play but the front yard is pretty nondescript right now. We don't have kids in the neighborhood to come play tho.
